STATS

Total Attendees: ~60

Women attendees: ~8

Total Speakers: 6

Women Speakers: 1

Theme: Showcasing FOSS Projects

THE GOOD

  • Venue was well-set, thanks to Rippling, Sweta made sure everything was well set up.
  • The Speaker lineup was amazing and probably the best lineup we have had to date.
  • There was a talk that required a demo of a car (demonstration of alpaDrive). The venue was convenient for the demo as it allowed the hassle-free movement of the audience to the car parking and to see the live demo.
  • The meeting started around 2.30 and ended around 5.30.
  • The format of having a 30-minute break in the middle seems to be good as it allows more networking and discussions.
  • The audience’s introduction was accompanied by a prompt to share their FOSS experience, the open-source tools they use, or projects they contribute to. Thanks to our MC Shrilakshmi for facilitating it and leading an engaging and energetic session.
  • Ansh from FOSS United was also able to join for the first time and shared some insights about FOSS Clubs
  • Vishal shared about his new blog series FOSS for Bharat

THE BAD

  • Diversity in the audience - more representation of women.

THE UGLY

  • Thankfully, nothing ugly in this meetup

Overall the meetup was just amazing with so many great talks and the audience was awesome as always.
