# Fossunited.org is closed source. why?

It’s open-source only. We use [Frappe Framework](https://frappeframework.com/) and have hosted on [Frappe Cloud](https://frappecloud.com/). See our website’s footer. We use the customization feature of Frappe and have created some [doctypes](https://frappeframework.com/docs/user/en/basics/doctypes) to built a hackathon application to manage FOSS Hack and [Mon.School](https://mon.school) which are open-sourced [here](https://github.com/fossunited/community).
