# Starting a FOSS United Club at DIT Pimpri – Guidance & Support

We are students from the ENTC department at DIT Pimpri, Pune, and we are interested in starting an official FOSS United Club at our college.  
We noticed that the club application is currently closed. Could someone please guide us regarding the next application window and the preparation required before applying?  
We would also like to understand what support an official club receives, especially regarding funding for events, mentors/speakers, learning resources, networking with other FOSS clubs, and collaboration opportunities.  
Can we also discuss our proposal with the FOSS United team before applications reopen?
