I am sharing a blog I wrote reflecting on the conversations that I have been a part of around open source AI. Since sovereignty is one of the arguments for openness in AI, DPGs almost always feature in them. I call this a malestrom of jargon in which Free and Open Source Software is suffering. I end with some opinionated recommendations. Would love to hear others’ views on it.
