DevSprint , is an event conducted by Excel, the annual tech fest of Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara in collaboration with FOSS MEC to encourage students and working professionals to contribute to Open Source projects.
DevSprint was last held in 2019, where a representative from organizations like Debian, DVC, etc took part.
Agenda:
The DevSprint will be held on 16th October 2022, at Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara.
- In the morning session, a representative from each organization would be provided with an opportunity to introduce participants to their tech stack and share their basic contributing guidelines.
- In the afternoon session, participants can select from the various organization and start contributing to the issues they find interesting.
- This would be a week-long event, participants can contribute to these repos remotely and top contributors will be rewarded.
- Participants who wish to continue contributing to these organizations can submit a proposal to the organization if they wish to do so.
This event will be open to all students and working professionals across Kerala, thereby ensuring quality contributions.
