UNPLUGG was an online knowledge session organized by FOSS CCE on 25 July 2026 for students across all departments of the college. The session focused on two rapidly evolving areas of the IT industry — Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.
The session aimed to help students understand the importance of cybersecurity in modern IT environments and explore the growing impact of AI on technology, careers, and the IT industry.

Mr. Praveen Elangovan — Senior Tech Lead, TCS Chennai.
He spoke about Cybersecurity and its Role in IT, focusing on the importance of digital security in modern IT environments. He also discussed the Impact of AI in IT and how emerging technologies are influencing the technology sector and the skills expected from future professionals.

What went well at the meetup?
