this comes out of a discussion with @ansh, we were wondering if there was value in curating a thread that documents everyday instances of (a) techno-solutionism, (b) the snake oil marketing, (and c) to some length ill-thought out regulatory approaches as the icing on the cake, and how all of this impacts the ecosystem and the society at large.
