Hi everyone,

We are in the final stretch of FOSS Hack 2026 and we are going all in! We are hosting a two day final sprint on 28th and 29th March at Sai University. This is your chance to lock in, push hard, and finish strong before the March 31st deadline.

Here are the details:
Date: Friday 28th March to Saturday 29th March
Starts: 10:00 AM on 28th March
Ends: Evening on 29th March
Venue: Sai University, Chennai

This is an overnight stay event. Just you, your team, your laptops, and two solid days of hacking.

What we are covering:

Saturday 28th March

  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Evening snacks
  • Dinner
  • Midnight snacks

Sunday 29th March

  • Breakfast
  • Lunch

Transport will be arranged for Saturday morning to get you here and Sunday evening to drop you back. Details on pickup points and timings will be shared shortly so keep an eye on the WhatsApp group as well.

What to bring:

  • Laptop and charger
  • Any personal items you need for an overnight stay
  • The energy to see them through

All registered participants are welcome. Just show up on time on Saturday morning.

Quick update on the final sprint event!

On request of some participants, we have rescheduled the event. It will now be held on Sunday, 29th March from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Sai University. It will no longer be an overnight stay.

Here are the updated details:

This is your final chance to lock in, push hard, and finish strong before the March 31st deadline. Come with your team, your laptops, and the energy to see it through!
