  • 24 hours offline Hackathon (The Hackathon goes for 36 hours)
  • Venue: ECE Block, SSN College of Engineering, Chennai

@Justin_Benito I registered for the Foss Hack offline edition @SSN. Is there any shortlisting or the first 100 participants will get confirmation mails??

Yes Praveen, we will be shortlisting the participants based on certain criterias for the offline edition and the rest would be able to participate online :grin:

Event Details:
Date: 27/07/2024 to 28/07/2024
Time: 8 AM (27th) - 10 AM (28th)
Venue: ECE Dept. SSN College of Engineering, Kelambakkam

General Instructions:
Check-In:
Registration begins at 8AM
Please bring a valid ID for verification.

Equipment:
Participants are required to bring their own laptops and any other necessary equipment.
Wi-Fi and charging stations will be available throughout the venue.

No Accommodation will be provided

Project Guidelines:

Please refer to this website for project guidelines: Rules for FOSS Hack

Code of Conduct:

Respect all participants, mentors, and organizers.
Maintain a collaborative and positive environment.
Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Try to be punctual. Delays might lead to disqualification.

Mentorship:

Mentors will be available to provide guidance and support.
Feel free to approach them with any technical or project-related questions.

Food and Refreshments:

Meals, snacks and Energy Drinks will be provided at designated times.
Stay hydrated and take breaks as needed.

Sleeping Arrangements:

A designated area will be available for those who wish to rest.
Bring your own sleeping bags or blankets for comfort.

Submission:

Final project submissions are due by 8PM on Sunday 28th,
since it is a 36 hour hackathon, but the venue will be only open until 10AM on Sunday 28th.

Ensure all code and documentation are uploaded to the provided platform.

Judging and Prizes:

Please note that the localhost organisers have no say in the final judging as it is a central hackathon happening at the same time nation wide, you will be submitting your project on the participant dashboard and would get to know the results from the FOSS United Team. We are in no way related to the final judging process.
