Some other statistics

  • RSVPs: 170+ Registrations
  • CFP Count: 6
  • People who showed up: ~45

The Good

  • We got 170+ registrations, which was way beyond our expectations. The actual footprint was near 45 too, which was again good.
  • While we faced a lot of delays, the attendees were willingly cooperative and active.
  • The place of meeting was appreciated by all, and the environment was created just fine to keep the productivity going effortlessly.
  • The audience was interactive and attentive, people were as interested as in the beginning, even during the talks (which went on from 30 minutes to 1hr), which is rare to see.
  • The number of learners (students) was appreciable, which made the event feel worth organising.
  • The efforts of the ambitious speakers, kept the meetup going fruitfully.
  • We had one female speaker!

The Bad

  • The end of the event had to be wrapped up in a short period due to a delay in already scheduled timings for the event.
  • The place organised was worth it, but, comparatively bigger than the actual strength that attended the event.
  • The event was stretched a bit too late which was a little inconvenient for the attendees as it was the evening time already.

The Ugly

  • Networking and food exceeded the time limit because everyone was too engaged in talking.

Thanks for posting this! @Swastik_Baranwal

Not a bad thing necessarily,we can consider having less/shorter talks so people get more time to network, like we do at the Hyderabad chapter.
