Good
- Had a backup talk handy to avoid cancelling the event due to speaker unavailability
- CIT students showcased their project and got feedback from the attendees
Bad
- Due to lot of events (college, community) happening parallel in Coimbatore region participant attendance was very low.
- Delayed the event until we get countable attendees.
- CFP review got delayed.
- Need to involve more volunteers to avoid my dependency to organize meetups. Got interest from 1 of the attendee to volunteer for future event.
Ugly
- Approval mail went into speaker’s spam box so he was not able make his presence.
- Going forward will make sure to get mobile numbers in CFP form to avoid this kind of situation (got similar feedback from participants).
Planning to host next meetup on 2nd or 3rd week of Feb.
