Job Description:
FOSS United Foundation is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as an Industry Partnership Manager. As the Industry Partnership Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing partnerships with industry organizations to support and enhance our mission of promoting Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) in India.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach, and onboard potential industry partners to expand our network and enhance collaboration opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing industry partners, ensuring their continued engagement and support.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize the value and impact of industry partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership goals with FOSS United’s objectives and initiatives.
- Coordinate and facilitate regular communication and engagement activities with industry partners, such as meetings, events, and collaborative projects.
- Monitor industry trends and developments to identify new partnership opportunities and stay abreast of relevant market dynamics.
- Provide regular reports and updates on partnership activities, progress, and outcomes to the management team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of the FOSS ecosystem and familiarity with industry trends and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage partnerships effectively, ensuring mutual benefits and long-term sustainability.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
- Passion for FOSS and a commitment to promoting its values and benefits.
