Locked Thread of Signature Campaign

@rahulporuri

you have locked the thread of my signature campaign. However, your post, made at 10 PM yesterday, raises more questions I guess. FOSS United Foundation is becoming more interesting by the day. Thank you !

Firstly - it is of course clear that there was a discussion of some sort prior to this. Did you have a staff meeting ? It looks like it, from the people who pressed the heart button (see image below). Please be so kind as to inform the community at what time this meeting happened, and who were present ? You have removed my moderator privileges – so I am unable to get this info myself.

In the image, I have scrolled down the list - @ansh is #1 in the list. Coming down to the list, I see Vishal(@fossdot) , @Vrinda_Gandhi , @kratika_tekwani , and @ashlesh . I’d expect these folks. That’s 2 directors, CEO and major staff. But the rest of the entries call for an explanation from somebody.

Beyond that I also see @realvinay ? And @Vishnu_Sudhakaran ? Who are these fine gentlemen and how did they press the “heart” button in time… and that too before you locked the post @rahulporuri ? Would be good to know - either from you, or from both these folks…

Apart from those we also have @Soham_Kulkarni and @Mz1 pressing the heart button too before the thread got locked. Kind fellas - can you please shed some light as well about how come… Did you receive the email update and then come to the forum and clicked the heart button immediately ?

Saw the message last night. Usually work late. Liked because its a good start. Wasn’t involved in any nefarious closed doors discussions. I’m supposed to be working at FOSS United as a Season of Commits intern / grantee / maintainer / whatever badge you want to use, so I’ve been active on the thread, apart from as a volunteer from my club/city/etc. Frankly I regret getting involved.

Thank you for your reply! And to be honest I don’t know why should have a regret. I “liked” one of the responses you posted too. Not because I agreed with everything you wrote there, but the balance was admirable.

Locking a thread doesn’t mean that people can’t react to the topic or the responses
