Scholarship for the January - March 2026 cohort is open now

Applications for the scholarship to FOSS developers for the September to November 2025 cohort of the The Graduate Certificate in Public Policy (Technology and Policy) at the Takshashila Institution are open now.

There are certain changes to the scholarship structure. Please read below carefully.

In the 11th batch, we are offering a 100% scholarship (₹49,560) for 6 candidates with a performance-based reimbursement structure:

  • Students pay 50% (₹24,780) of the course fee upfront
  • FOSS United Foundation reimburses the full 50% (₹24,780) upon achieving any passing grade
  • Effective cost: ₹0 for students who complete the course successfully

Application process:

  1. Apply to the cohort starting 10th January 2026 (application deadline: 4th January 2026)
  2. Enter FOSS UNITED in the referral name field and foundation@fossunited.org in the referral email field
  3. Upon acceptance, pay 50% of the fee upfront, and FOSS United Foundation will reimburse it after course completion

Important Notice: This program runs on weekends over three months and is quite demanding. Every weekend will require your commitment. Apply only if you are certain you can dedicate the necessary time to complete the course successfully.
