Scholarship for the September - November 2026 cohort is open

Applications are open for FOSS developers for the September to November 2026 cohort of the Graduate Certificate in Public Policy (Technology and Policy) at the Takshashila Institution.

We’re offering a 100% scholarship (₹49,560) for 6 candidates, with a performance-based reimbursement structure. Here’s how it works:

  • Students pay 50% (₹24,780) of the course fee upfront
  • FOSS United Foundation reimburses the full 50% (₹24,780) once you pass the course
  • Effective cost: ₹0 if you complete it successfully

To apply:

  1. Visit and apply to the cohort starting 5th September 2026 (applications close 23rd August 2026)
  2. There’s also an early bird option - 10% scholarship if you apply by 26th July 2026
  3. Enter FOSS UNITED in the referral name field and foundation@fossunited.org in the referral email field
  4. Once accepted, pay 50% of the fee upfront - FOSS United Foundation will reimburse it after you complete the course

A heads up: this program runs on weekends over three months (5th Sept - 28th Nov) and is quite demanding. Every weekend needs your time. Apply only if you’re sure you can commit to it fully.
