Speakers

Speaker Lineup can be found at - Speaker Lineup

Community Partners

We onboarded some well known communities in Kalyani and nearby region as community partners to help spread the word, list of which can be found at - link.
These communities helped us spread the word to a great number of audience. We formed a whatsapp group to onboard their representatives and Our team members - @Anushka_Jhingran and @Kritya_Rajansh Coordinated with them.

Activities

  • Opening Keynote was given by our esteemed professor Dr. Oishila Bandyopadhyay, who encouraged folks to join such meetups more and talked about her experience in the field in brief.
  • Speaker lineup started with supratim, followed by HarshVardhan and Arghadeep Banerjee and at last a short note by myself.
  • Food was given after second talk.
  • Stickers were distributed to each participant on the exit.

Few Glimpses

The Good

  • Whole meetup went with smoothness.
  • Response from attendees was great.
  • Number of participants was unexpectedly huge.
  • Community Partners were very helpful in promotion of the meetup.
  • DevDotCom community folks helped a lot onground.
  • JIS College was very prepared and helpful.
  • All the team members worked in sync and with proper coordination and planning.

The Bad

  • Quality of Talks can be improved
  • Announcement and promotion can be done with proper time in hand, this time everything was in a bit hurry due to inter-IIIT Sports meet where more than half of the team was busy.
  • Day of the meetup should ideally be Sunday as many attendees who RSVPed could not attend as it was on Monday.

Post meetup activities

  • We still have not posted any photos from the meetup, as we are planning to rather make a reel/short and post it.
  • We have emailed audit@fossunited.org the invoice of stickers, snacks and drinks.

Future plans

  • We plan to not conduct any offline activity in the month of april as our end semesters will be during that time.
  • Though we plan to continue our online activities and possibly expand them.
