We hope you’re gearing up for FOSS Hack 2024, scheduled on July 27th and 28th, right around the corner! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience at the Delhi NCR localhost, we expect you to be mindful of the following points:
Adhere to the Code of Conduct:
Ensure you follow all guidelines outlined in our code of conduct to maintain a respectful and inclusive environment.
Punctuality:
You are requested to report at the localhost by 9 AM to ensure you don’t miss any important announcements or activities.
Dispose of Food Properly:
Please dispose of food and waste only in the designated areas. Let’s keep the venue clean and tidy.
Bring Your Own Devices:
Ensure you have your laptop, charger, and any other necessary peripherals like an Ethernet connector and soldering items (if needed).
Health and Safety:
Follow any health and safety protocols in place at the venue to ensure everyone’s well-being.
Event Duration and Accommodation:
The offline event will run from 9 AM to 9 PM on July 27th Please note that there will be no accommodation provided at the venue, so kindly arrange your stay if you are coming from a distance. It is recommended to leave a bit early if your stay is far from the venue.
Recommended Steps
Stay Hydrated:
We’ll provide water stations, so remember to stay hydrated throughout the event and bring your own water bottle.
Bring Your Own WiFi Router (Optional):
While the venue provides ample WiFi with good bandwidth, bringing your own router can maximize speed and ensure a seamless connection.
Submissions:
Final Project submissions are due by 8PM on Sunday 28th, and the commits made between 8am 27th July (SAT) - 8PM 28th July (SUN) will only be considered.
It’s is a 36 hour hybrid hackathon, but the venue will be only open until 9 PM on Saturday 28th.
Judging and Prizes:
Please note that the localhost organizer’s have no say in the final judging as it is a central hackathon happening at the same time nation wide, you will be submitting your project on the participant dashboard and would get to know the results from the FOSS United Team. We are in no way related to the final judging process.
Network and Collaborate:
Use this opportunity to network with other participants and collaborate on projects.
